Medatech has recently completed the implementation of a Priority ERP system at Arava Export Growers, which specializes in the export of agricultural produce. The project is estimated at two million NIS, and included the implementation of a unique module designed especially for the agricultural world as well as the construction of an internet portal for growers – an original development by MedaTech.
MedaTech Information Technology has implemented a Priority ERP system at Arava Export Growers, a farmers-founded company that specializes in the export of agricultural produce from Israel. The system’s implementation included different modules, among which was a unique marketing module developed by MedaTech, designed for agricultural produce distributors, and provides a solution for the intricate business relations between the distributor, packaging houses and growers, and between the distributor and freight companies in Israel and abroad. In addition, this unique module offers the ability to keep track of the produce from the moment the grower had finished the packaging, up to the delivery of produce to the end distributor overseas.
This project included the development of a program for automating the freight scheduling of produce trays based on company-set parameters, thereby saving considerable time of doing so manually. Furthermore, MedaTech has built a dedicated website for the use of growers where they can create shipping orders, enter produce-picking forecasts and view reports with a simple click of a button.
Hanna Sarel, MedaTech’s CEO has stated that the company “took on the challenge and implemented the system while incorporating creative solutions which required an out-of-the-box approach, and making the necessary adjustments for the world of farmers in general, and for the Arava Export Growers in particular. As part of this mission MedaTech has implemented and accompanied many users in the system in decentralized websites. Although the project is already live, we continue on with more projects with the company so as to further computerize additional processes such as cargo flight wearhouse scanning, improving work processes with freight and shipping companies, and also increasing the accuracy of expense estimations. The excellent cooperation we’ve received from the client has greatly contributed to the success of this project.”
