BSC Diecasting & Finishing are a long established, well respected and highly innovative supplier of castings in the Midlands, UK. For over 45 years they have been refining their processes to deliver the best castings with the best finish to industry both in the UK and around the world. Their 24,000 ft2 facility features the latest diecasting equipment with which they cast and finish hundreds of thousands of items for a wide variety of customers every year.

BSC has been able to upgrade from their previous system and many disparate spreadsheets located on individual managers’ P.C.’s to a state-of-the-art Microsoft technology-based integrated business system. This has allowed much better control, distribution and visibility of information throughout the whole business.
BSC has been able to quickly raise quotes to new and old customers alike based on better, more accurate data. Competitive quotes to their customers are based on realisable data of their materials costs, overheads and manufacturing costs.
By relieving their engineers of the burden of raising quotes and passing it on to their sales team, BSC managed to cut down significantly their lead times.
Due to a better knowledge and visibility of the engineering data, converting a quote to a live product is one click of a button. Saving time and improving the accuracy of their BOMs and routings.
With better management of their inventory and their sub-contractors, BSC now manages to achieve greater traceability of their current stock and are able to plan ahead both purchasing and production.
